Managed Detection & Response

Next-generation endpoint protection backed by a 24/7 security operations center that investigates and contains threats.

SEC-01

What this service covers

Traditional antivirus looks for known bad files. Modern attacks use stolen credentials, built-in Windows tools and ransomware that changes constantly. Managed detection and response (MDR) combines endpoint detection and response (EDR) software with human analysts who watch for suspicious behavior around the clock.

When the security operations center (SOC) sees something wrong, such as a login from another country followed by mass file encryption, analysts can isolate the device from the network within minutes, at 3 a.m. on a Sunday, and then work with us to clean up and restore.

How we deliver it

  1. Step 1

    Deploy

EDR agents are installed and tuned during onboarding.
  2. Step 2

    Monitor

The SOC watches telemetry from every device and account.
  3. Step 3

    Respond

Threats are contained and you are notified immediately.
  4. Step 4

    Recover

We remediate, restore and document the incident.

A good fit if

  • You rely on basic antivirus alone
  • Nobody watches security alerts at night or on weekends
  • Your cyber insurer requires EDR or MDR

Common questions

What is the difference between EDR and MDR?

EDR is the software. MDR adds the people who watch it and respond 24/7.

Will it replace our antivirus?

Yes. The EDR agent replaces traditional antivirus.
