Why I started this company

For more than 20 years I've been the person on the other side of the table from managed service providers. As a director of technology, IT manager and CIO, I hired MSPs, managed their contracts, reviewed their invoices and cleaned up after them.

Some were excellent. Too many were not. I saw long contracts designed to make leaving painful. I saw invoices with surprise charges, and tools sold because they carried a good margin, not because the client needed them. I saw response times that only counted when someone was watching, and documentation held back so the client couldn't take their own network to someone else.

I decided to start a business that does the right thing, every time, even when nobody is checking.

TS Consulting LLC is built the way I always wished my own IT partners had worked. You get honest advice, including when the right answer is that you don't need something. Pricing is clear before work starts. Your passwords, diagrams and documentation belong to you. And the person who answers your call understands what's at stake in a regulated business, because I've spent my career in them.

    • Leads client strategy, security and service delivery personally, serving as vCIO for managed clients.
    • Created Cybriva AI, a TS Consulting LLC product line that gives small regulated businesses practical security programs: industry policy kits, a monthly-updated template library, SOC 2 readiness packages and a free security self-assessment.

    • Owned enterprise IT strategy and the multi-year roadmap for diagnostic research, laboratory operations and regulatory obligations.
    • Directed cybersecurity, data governance and compliance programs aligned with HIPAA, CLIA and FDA requirements.
    • Oversaw infrastructure, cloud platforms and laboratory systems, including LIMS integration and interoperability.
    • Managed the vendor ecosystem, contract negotiations and performance metrics.

    • Led technology for a K–12 school and multi-campus ministry serving 250 staff and 1,000 students.
    • Defined long-term digital strategy, annual budgets and capital planning.
    • Established the department's mission, governance framework and operating standards, and built and mentored the technology team.

    Information Technology Manager

    FYIsoft Inc. · Naples, FL
    • Led the migration of on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure and moved identity from Active Directory to Azure AD.
    • Established the security governance and policies supporting SOC 1 Type II certification.
    • Cut annual operating costs 15% by moving customer production systems from a third-party vendor to Azure.
    • Enabled a fully remote workforce on secure, scalable cloud architecture.
